1. Paneer (cottage cheese) 200 gm (Grated or finely chopped)
2. Chana dal 200 gm (Soaked for 3-4 hrs)
3. Ginger 1 About an inch in size
4. Green chillies 2 - 4 (Fine chopped)
5. Turmeric powder 1/4 spoon
6. Garlic 3-4 cloves
7. Curd 1 cup (Unsweetened and unsalted)
8. Onion 1 cup (Finely Chopped)
9. Garam Masala Powder 1 Tbsp
10. Chat Masala 1 Tbsp
11. Oil 1 cup ( for shallow frying)
12. Coriander Leaves handful (Finely chopped)
13. Salt to taste
14. Lemon Half (Lemon Juice)
Method:
1. Grind ingredients 2 to 6 into a semi solid paste. Do not grind into fine paste. Make sure its a bit grainy. Its must be thick enough and grainy to make patties. Look at the pic provided below.

2. Add Paneer + Curd + Onion + Garam masala ( you can avoid Chat masala if u dont prefer with Garam Masala) + Salt + Coriander leaves into the mixture made in Step 1. Mix uniformly.
3. Make small Tikkis (patties). Cookie size.
4. Shallow fry in a non sticky pan till golden brown on both the sides. Check my pics below.

Server with a dash of lemon juice on them. Goes well with Tomato Ketchup and Pudina (Mint) Chutni. This serves 4 people for a nice evening snack.
Enjoy :) !!
